The Royal Horticultural Society has announced the locations and dates for its four major flower shows in 2027, continuing its touring model that began in 2024. The events will include the traditional RHS Malvern Spring Festival in Worcestershire and the iconic RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London, alongside a new addition in Bristol and the return of RHS Flower Show Tatton Park in Cheshire. The new Bristol event, scheduled for July 8-11, 2027, will be held in the Prospect Building, featuring indoor botanical displays, an outdoor courtyard, pop-up plant exhibits, expert talks, and hands-on workshops.
This marks the first time the society is bringing a major show to the city center, providing inspiration for all gardeners, whether they have a small city garden or just a windowsill. RHS Flower Show Tatton Park, returning after a three-year hiatus, will take place from July 21-25, 2027, at the Tatton Park estate in Cheshire. The show will showcase regional horticulture with exhibit gardens, floral displays, specialist growers, and talks, including Young Designer Gardens to highlight emerging talent.
These selections follow the society’s 2024 strategy to expand its reach beyond traditional venues. So far, events have included RHS Wentworth Woodhouse in 2025, and RHS Badminton and RHS Sandringham this year. “After the success of our new shows at Wentworth Woodhouse, Badminton Estate and Sandringham Estate, we are delighted to be continuing our work to make the RHS more accessible and to welcome more people into gardening,” said James Wren, RHS director of development and shows.
The Tatton Park return celebrates the North West and its proud horticultural community, reinforcing regional engagement alongside established events like Chelsea and Malvern, which remain central to the UK’s horticultural calendar. In addition to the four main shows, the society will host seasonal shows and plant society events at RHS gardens across the UK. The 2027 schedule includes RHS Malvern Spring Festival (May 6-9) and Chelsea Flower Show (May 18-22), ensuring continuity for long-standing attendees while introducing fresh experiences in new cities.
